General

The Earth Sciences Library is housed in the Research School of Earth Sciences, located in the Jaeger Building on Mills Road [Building 61 on the campus map].

The Earth Sciences Library is open 9a.m. to 5p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding all public holidays. Photocopying facilities are available using a rechargable card which may be purchased from the librarian. Telephone enquiries should be directed to (02) 6125 3521. Email enquires should be sent to the librarian.

The collection has materials in Earth Sciences, especially:
    • geochemistry
    • geophysics
    • mineralogy
    • oceanography
    • geodynamics
    • tectonics
    • seismology
    • lunar and planetary studies
    • structural geology

Hundreds of current serials are subscribed to by the Earth Sciences Library, and there is a collection of more than 26,000 monographs.

The Earth Sciences Library holdings are included in the ANU online catalogue , and includes some databases of particular interest, namely Georef ,and ISI Web of Knowledge that includes Current Contents Connect

Most of the undergraduate geology material, including current serials, is housed in the W.K.Hancock Building , located on Biology Road. This collection is strong in paleontology, regolith science and sedimentology.
